Corberán makes public return at Aston Villa training after Valencia exit | OneFootball

Corberán made a public return at Aston Villa’s training session at the Marbella Football Center on Friday after his recent dismissal as Valencia CF coach. According to Superdeporte, he spent time around the session with several familiar faces from Valencian football.

He crossed paths with Unai Emery, Aston Villa’s head coach, and the club’s director of football operations Damià Vidagany. He also greeted former Valencia colleagues Chema Sanz and Pablo Rodríguez.

Corberán was accompanied by former Elche coach Eder Sarabia and ex Sevilla player Fazio during the visit.

Aston Villa are in Spain for the Trofeo Antonio Puerta, facing Sevilla FC tonight at 20:30.

The appearance comes three weeks after his Valencia CF departure, a spell in which he had kept a low profile. His return unfolded in a football environment among professionals with whom he shares past ties in the Spanish game.
