Arnaut Danjuma is enduring his toughest spell at Valencia, having been a substitute in five straight matches.
His last start came on 7 December 2025 at Mestalla against Sevilla. Since then he has featured off the bench against Atlético for 0 minutes, Mallorca 14, Celta 24 and Elche 25 in LaLiga, then 17 against Burgos in the Copa del Rey.
He has not scored or assisted since 4 October against Oviedo, a game marked by a costly penalty error linked to what would have been his second goal.
According to Superdeporte, Corberán has defended the winger, stressing his very good qualities and the need to have every player at 100% while competing on two fronts. He believes Danjuma can still bring Valencia plenty of joy, and says pre-arrival conversations do not grant any privilege.
He has not ruled out giving Danjuma a start today on the flank. Getafe brings back good memories for him, as his first major impact for Valencia came on 29 August at Mestalla against them, when his speed and scoring threat stood out. Danjuma is chasing a turning point, and Corberán needs to get him going.
