Corinthians and Santos draw in Paulistão U15 quarter-final first leg

On the morning of Saturday, October 25, Corinthians faced Santos at Vila Belmiro for the first leg of the quarterfinals of the Paulista Under-15 Championship and drew with a score of 1 x 1. The goal for Timãozinho was scored by forward Miguel Moscardo.

The “Filhos do Terrão” opened the scoring just three minutes in, when midfielder Léo Rodrigues set up Miguel Moscardo between the defenders and the center forward shot across goal to beat the Santos goalkeeper.

Coach Eduardo Vergueiro lined up the following team to start the match: Matheus; Kaio Wisley (Medina), Caio Manuel, Arthur Couto, and Rafael Luiz; Lucas Lopes, Leo Saraiva (Arthur Afro), and Leo Rodrigues; Felipe Enzo (Rhyan Ladeira), Morelli (Luan Banhado), and Moscardo (Thiago Coelho).

Abnner, Juan Pablo, Juan Carlos, and Gui Matheus were the only ones who did not leave the bench. The Santos team equalized the match at the end of the first half. Now, Corinthians and Santos will face each other again next Saturday, November 1, at 3:00 PM (Brasília time), for the second leg of the state quarterfinals.

In 2025, the Corinthians Under-15 team, seen internally as one of the club’s most promising categories, has already won: Paulista Cup, Mina Cup, and Copa Votorantim.
