Corinthians moved out of the relegation zone with a 1-0 victory over Vasco da Gama on Sunday.

Matheus Bidu scored at Neo Química Arena in the 13th round of the Campeonato Brasileiro, and the result leaves the club 14th on 15 points. According to Meu Timao, Corinthians have resumed negotiations with Caixa Econômica Federal over the stadium’s naming rights, with positive progress in a meeting last Thursday to revise the agreement.

The Movimento Expulsão Já will on Monday file a request to the club’s Conselho Deliberativo seeking the expulsion of former president Andrés Sanchez.

The motion also asks for the loss of his lifetime post.

The petition has more than 50,000 signatures, including about 1,000 from club members.
