Corinthians: Brasileirão ends, women's Paulista semi, futsal final

December has begun and, with it, the season comes to an end for several sports. In the final stretch, every game is decisive, whether it’s knockout or round-robin. In this first week of the last month of 2025, Corinthians faces crucial matches in the Women’s Paulista Championship, futsal, and the final rounds of the Brasileirão.

The week only ‘starts’ on Tuesday (2). For the grand final of the Paulista Futsal Championship, Corinthians hosts Magnus Sorocaba at the Wlamir Marques Gymnasium, starting at 8 p.m. (Brasília time), for the first leg of the final. Fernando Malafaia’s team will still have the second leg, away from home.

The next commitments take place on Wednesday, the 3rd. In the interior of São Paulo, Corinthians returns to action in the Novo Basquete Brasil (NBB) after the FIBA window. The opponent is SESI Franca, who play at home in the Pedrocão Gymnasium. Tip-off is at 7 p.m.

On the same day and at the same time, Dorival Júnior’s squad takes the field for the penultimate round of the Brasileirão. Corinthians will also play away, at Arena Castelão, against Fortaleza. With 46 points, Timão seeks a win to reach eighth place, hoping for a Libertadores spot and to improve their prize money.

Thursday (4) is exclusively for the Brabas and Brabinhas. At 4 p.m., at Ceret, the under-20 team takes the field to face Criciúma in the first round of the Women’s Copinha. Timãozinho is aiming for their first title in the competition.

Hours later, in the evening, Neo Química Arena gets ready to host Corinthians in the second leg of the Women’s Paulista semifinal. After winning the first leg, the Brabas need only a draw to eliminate São Paulo from the competition. Kickoff is at 9:30 p.m.

There’s no Corinthians action on Friday, but Saturday brings the only final of the week. For the second leg of the Paulista Futsal final, Timão heads to Sorocaba to face Magnus in pursuit of the trophy. The match takes place at Arena Sorocaba, starting at 11 a.m.

Sunday will be packed for the Fiel. In the Women’s Paulista Basketball, Corinthians faces SESI Araraquara in the second game of the series for the championship title. Tip-off is at 4 p.m., at the Wlamir Marques Gymnasium. The Furiosas lost the first game, which was away.

At the same time, Neo Química Arena will be full to support Corinthians in the last round of the Brasileirão. Against Juventude, Dorival Júnior’s team has their final match before facing Cruzeiro in the Copa do Brasil.

To close out the day and the week, the Brabinhas will face Flamengo in the second round of the Women’s Copinha. Kickoff is at 8 p.m., at the Ceret field.
