FPF confirm date for Majestoso in Paulista Feminino Sub-17 final

The FPF (Paulista Football Federation) has confirmed the final of the U-17 Women's Paulista Championship between Corinthians and São Paulo for this Saturday (29) at 10 am (Brasília time). The decision will take place at the Gabriel Marques da Silva Stadium in Santana de Parnaíba, with broadcast on the official Paulistão channel on YouTube.

The Brabinhas reached the final after eliminating Ferroviária in the semifinal last Saturday (22), with the spot decided on penalties. Goalkeeper Ana Morganti played a decisive role, saving two penalty kicks. On the other side of the bracket, São Paulo secured their spot on Sunday by defeating Santo André 4-1.

The alvinegro team is seeking their first state title in the category. Since the tournament's inception in 2017, the team has reached two finals: in 2021, when they were defeated by São Paulo, and in 2024, when they lost to Ferroviária. Timão also reached the semifinals in 2019 and 2022.

The current squad is coming off a standout season. In August, the team won the U-17 Women's Brazilian Championship by defeating Grêmio in the final. Part of the group also joined the Brazilian National Team in the last U-17 World Cup, including Ana Morganti, Dany Pereira, Pepê, Julia Fara, and Dulce Maria, a campaign that ended with the country's best-ever finish, reaching the tournament's semifinals and securing fourth place.
