Corinthians confirm Ana Vitória signing on a three-year deal

Corinthians has confirmed the arrival of midfielder Ana Vitória for the next three seasons. The negotiation with Atlético de Madrid, Spain, was already finalized, with only the agreement with the athlete pending. She signed with the People's Team until the end of 2028 and is already at Parque São Jorge.

The player had a contract with the Spanish club until June, but the Corinthians management wanted to bring her in early, aiming for the FIFA Champions Cup, which starts this January. The Brabas will depart for London on the 20th, focusing on the match against Gotham FC, from the United States, on the 28th at 9:30 AM (Brasília time), for the semifinals of the Champions Cup.

Ana Vitória is already integrated into the squad led by Lucas Piccinato, who is training for the World Cup. The club is expected to announce other players before the trip to Europe.

Ana Vitória's first stint at Corinthians was between 2017 and 2018, when she scored eight goals and provided three assists in 57 games, contributing to the Conmebol Libertadores and Brasileirão titles in the category. She later transferred to Benfica, Portugal, where she played between the 2018/2019 and 2022/2023 seasons. She then moved to PSG, France, and since the 2023/2024 season, she has been with Atlético de Madrid.

Besides the Champions Cup, the Brabas will compete in 2026: Supercopa do Brasil, Copa do Brasil, Campeonato Paulista, Brasileirão, and Conmebol Libertadores. For the current season, the following players have left the Alvinegro: goalkeeper Kemelli, right-backs Letícia Santos and Paulinha, defender Mariza, and forward Eudimilla.
