Corinthians have agreed a deal for Ana Vitória with Atlético de Madrid, pending final contract details.
The club said in a statement that terms are in place with Atlético and that club and player are finalising the paperwork. Atlético de Madrid also confirmed the transfer, adding she joined in January 2024 from PSG.
There was uncertainty over a January move or a June arrival, but Corinthians accelerated it to target the Copa das Campeãs on 28 January against Gotham FC in London.
The signing addresses a midfield need. Dayana Rodríguez is the only natural holding midfielder, and last season Duda Sampaio, Vic Albuquerque and Andressa Alves were used there.
This will be Ana Vitória’s second spell at Parque São Jorge. She made 57 appearances between 2017 and 2018, scoring eight, supplying three assists and lifting the Campeonato Brasileiro and Copa Libertadores.
After leaving Corinthians she played for Benfica and PSG before joining Atlético de Madrid. She won Olympic silver at Paris 2024, played at the 2023 World Cup, and was later ruled out of the 2025 Copa América with injury.
According to OGol, she has made 18 appearances this season, 11 in the league, one in the Copa de la Reina and six in the Champions League. Her last outing was a 4-0 loss to Lyon in the Champions League.
Corinthians have already announced forward Rhaizza from Bahia and midfielder Paola García from Deportivo Cali, and are working to finalise defender Agustina and forward Belén Aquino.
