Corinthians have confirmed the signing of 23-year-old Uruguayan right-back Pedro Milans on a free, with a contract until 31 December 2029.

Milans arrived in São Paulo last week and has already been working at CT Dr. Joaquim Grava, completing medical tests. According to Meu Timao, the official announcement was held up by paperwork as he needed to obtain a CPF. He was at the stadium on Sunday to watch the Majestoso.

His name was entered into the CBF's BID following the announcement. He now awaits inclusion in the FPF system to be registered for the Paulistão. He did not travel with the squad to the Baixada Santista for Thursday's match against Santos.

The defender had been without a club since the start of the year after leaving Peñarol, where he spent the last four seasons. In 2025 he made 42 appearances and recorded two assists. He began his career at Juventud de Las Piedras.

Milans fits Corinthians' current recruitment profile, favouring free transfers or loans. He arrives to compete with Matheuzinho on the right, with only the youngster João Vitor Jacaré as back-up. Head coach Dorival Júnior had already flagged the signing.

This window Corinthians have also added centre-back Gabriel Paulista and midfielder Matheus Pereira. The latter made his re-debut in the draw with São Paulo in Itaquera.
