Corinthians sign Uruguayan right-back Pedro Milans until 2029

Corinthians have signed Uruguayan right-back Pedro Milans, 23, on a contract to 31 December 2029. According to Globo.com, his name has appeared on the CBF’s BID, which clears him to play.
He joins as a free agent after his Peñarol contract expired.
Milans has been in Brazil since last week, completing medicals, meeting staff and taking part in his first training sessions.
He has not played for almost two months, his last match was on 30 November last year. He is building fitness and training in two sessions a day at CT Joaquim Grava.
He arrives as the immediate back-up to Matheuzinho. Right-back was one of the club’s priorities in this window.
In 2025 he made 42 appearances for Peñarol. He has represented Uruguay at youth level.
Before Milans, Corinthians had announced defender Gabriel Paulista and midfielder Matheus Pereira. The club have also moved for forward Kaio César and goalkeeper João Ricardo, who are yet to be announced.
