It was a busy Tuesday for Corinthians supporters, with a collapsed deal for a goalkeeper, a rejected bid for André and upgrades at the training centre.

According to Meu Timao, goalkeeper João Ricardo failed a medical on Monday, so he will not join the club.

The club also turned down Milan’s initial approach for midfielder André, an offer worth 15 million euros fixed with the possibility of add-ons.

Corinthians have begun works at the CT Joaquim Grava complex to separate areas used by the women’s team and the boys’ academy.

The project is estimated to take between 60 and 90 days to complete.
