Corinthians expected to start September renewal talks, André Carrillo could be first in line | OneFootball

According to Meu Timao, Corinthians are expected to open talks in September over players in the final year of their deals. André Carrillo is likely to be among the first approached.

The 35-year-old Peruvian arrived in mid 2024 and debuted that September in a 2-1 loss to Botafogo. He has made 107 appearances, scoring three and assisting six, and has won the 2025 Campeonato Paulista and Copa do Brasil plus the 2026 Supercopa Rei.

Under Fernando Diniz, Carrillo has featured in 23 of 27 matches, starting seven. The number 19 has begun the last three games.

Those starts came in league defeats to Cruzeiro and Coritiba, and against Rosario Central, a win that secured a Libertadores quarter-final place.

In early July, a poll showed 55.6% of fans backed keeping Carrillo at Parque São Jorge, with 44.4% preferring he moved on. He is well regarded by the board, notably president Osmar Stabile, who would like to extend his deal.

Also expiring on 31 December are centre-back André Ramalho, full-backs Fabrizio Angileri and Hugo Farias, midfielder Zakaria Labyad, and forwards Jesse Lingard and Vitinho. Labyad's contract will renew automatically due to his anterior cruciate ligament injury.

In the women's squad, seven players are also out of contract at year end, goalkeepers Ana Morganti and Lelê, defenders Thaís Regina and Agustina, midfielder Vic Albuquerque, and forwards Ariel Godoi and Carol Nogueira.
