Corinthians worked on behavioural elements in their second day of sessions during the international break on Saturday morning at CT Dr. Joaquim Grava, as preparations continued for the Brasileiro.
According to Meu Timao, the squad began with strength work in the gym, then moved to a possession warm up before Fernando Diniz led a 10 v 10 tactical drill focused on playing out of pressure, attacking creation, decision making and counter pressing after losing the ball.
The staff were without several players on national duty. Hugo Souza, Matheuzinho and Breno Bidon are with Brazil, while André Carrillo is representing Peru.
On Friday there were updates on injured players. Yuri Alberto, in physical transition, joined part of the group session, while Gabriel Paulista worked with the physiotherapy team on the pitch. There is a possibility the pair could be available for the next match against Internacional.
The window gives Corinthians 17 days without an official fixture between the Fluminense game and the visit to Internacional, the longest interval since the 2026 World Cup pause.
They return on 7 October at 19:30, away to Internacional at Beira-Rio in the Brasileiro, seeking to end a run of six consecutive league defeats.
