Corinthians group rebrands to strengthen collective spirit

The economic bloc that Corinthians is part of announced changes to its brand last Friday (23). The Liga Forte União (LFU) is now called Futebol Forte União, operating under the acronym FFU. The change was made to show an evolution of the project, as stated by President Marcelo Paz, who is also the football executive of Timão.

“We see this new stage as a natural evolution of the project. We have entered a phase of greater institutional maturity, with more robust governance and a strategic approach aimed at generating long-term value for the clubs”, said the executive.

“The results presented show a concrete transformation. We have advanced in balance, with a fairer and more sustainable distribution aligned with the best practices of world football”, he added.

In the latest round of negotiations for the broadcasting rights of the Brasileirão, the FFU secured an increase of R$ 460 million in the distribution of these revenues, compared to 2024. Moreover, the average growth shows that each club had an increase of 55% in this value provided by television rights.

Besides Corinthians, the bloc includes nine Serie A clubs: Internacional, Cruzeiro, Fluminense, Vasco, Botafogo, Mirassol, Athletico-PR, Coritiba, and Chapecoense. It also includes significant clubs from the lower divisions of national football, such as América-MG, Atlético-GO, Cuiabá, Sport, Fortaleza, Ceará, Goiás, Ponte Preta, and Botafogo-SP.
