Zenit have five Corinthians academy graduates under contract, with Felipe Augusto, Gustavo Mantuan and Pedro in Sergey Semak’s squad, and Du Queiroz and Robert Renan out on loan. According to Meu Timao, the St Petersburg club have kept close transfer links with the São Paulo side.
Felipe Augusto left Corinthians for Cercle Brugge in December 2023 for 3 million euros, then moved to Trabzonspor in Türkiye, scoring 15 in 40. He joined Zenit in June 2026, earning Corinthians at least 375,000 euros via FIFA solidarity. The 22-year-old has 13 appearances, four starts and one goal, usually behind Aleksandr Sobolev.
Gustavo Mantuan arrived on loan in 2022 in the Yuri Alberto deal and signed permanently in June 2023 for 2 million euros. Recast as a right-back or wing-back, he is a fixture, with 12 appearances this season, nine starts, one goal and one assist, and 142 games overall. Corinthians sold their remaining 40% for 2 million euros, so hold no stake.
Pedro was sold for 9 million euros at the end of 2023 and has since become a key creator from the left. He has 10 outings this term, seven starts, and leads the Russian Premier League with four assists, level with Spartak’s Marquinhos. Al-Ittihad showed interest, but Corinthians no longer profit after ex-president Augusto Melo secretly sold their 30% share.
Midfielder Du Queiroz managed 16 games and one goal for Zenit before loans to Grêmio, Sport and Orenburg. In September 2026 he joined Sabah FK of Azerbaijan on loan with an option to buy, making four appearances, and is contracted to Zenit until 30 June 2028.
Defender Robert Renan moved to Zenit in 2023 within the permanent Yuri Alberto agreement, with Corinthians retaining 11%. After 17 games he was loaned to Internacional, Al-Shabab and then Vasco da Gama, who have decided to buy 70% for about 8 million euros, which would end his Zenit deal on 31 December. Corinthians also hold a 1.5% training compensation on any future transfer.
