Despite the dream, Nicole highlighted the competition for the position and emphasized the strong moment Brazilian goalkeepers are experiencing. For her, the path to reaching the National Team first involves maintaining a high level of performance at Corinthians, winning titles, and having her work for the club recognized.

The goalkeeper also mentioned the work of Arthur Elias, head coach of the Brazilian women’s national team, and acknowledged the quality of the other contenders for the spot. Even with the competition, Nicole remains focused on continuing to improve at Corinthians and understands that a possible call-up could come as a result of the performances she delivers at the club.

“Arthur is crazy, but he does a very good job, everyone knows that, and I want to be there, I work for that, but also, as we said, there are great goalkeepers, I think Brazil is very well represented in goal today, so I always think about doing a good job here, winning titles with Corinthians, and through my work here, maybe having an opportunity there, but I think it’s the dream and desire of any athlete”, the keeper concluded.
