Corinthians are in no hurry to finalise André's move to Nottingham Forest before the English transfer window closes on Tuesday. According to Globo.com, the 20-year-old would only depart at the end of the year, so a deal could be formalised after the deadline.
The club expect progress in the coming weeks, but they are still waiting for a final offer from Forest. The main sticking point remains the valuation.
Forest's initial proposal was 12 million euros, around R$ 72 million at current rates. Corinthians want 15 million pounds, roughly R$ 105 million, including six million pounds in bonuses.
The English club have indicated they do not intend to reach that figure, though they may move closer to it.
Corinthians hold 70% of the midfielder's economic rights.
With no deadline pressure, the club are seeking transfer income from a player sale. Their 2026 budget projects R$ 151 million from transfers.
