Corinthians host Santos on Sunday at 16:00 in the 25th round of the Campeonato Brasileiro. As reported by Meu Timao, the fixture offers a chance to improve their 2026 home derby form.

They have faced São Paulo and Palmeiras there four times this year, winning once, drawing twice and losing once, scoring four and conceding four.

The run began on 18 January with a 1-1 draw against São Paulo in the Campeonato Paulista, Tapia opening the scoring before Breno Bidon equalised.

On 8 February Palmeiras won 1-0, Flaco López scoring, and Memphis Depay missed a penalty. On 12 April Corinthians held Palmeiras 0-0 despite red cards for André Luiz and Matheuzinho.

Their sole derby win arrived on 10 May, a 3-2 success over São Paulo in the Brasileiro, with Matheuzinho, Raniele and Breno Bidon scoring, while Luciano and a Matheuzinho own goal replied.

Corinthians have a 60.95% Arena derby return since 2014, with 34 wins, 26 draws and 10 losses in 70. This will be the third Clássico Alvinegro of the year after 1-1 draws at Vila Belmiro.

Santos have already visited the Arena twice in 2026, beating Red Bull Bragantino 2-0 in the Paulista and losing 3-0 to Coritiba in the Brasileiro. Corinthians won the last meeting at the ground, 1-0 in 2025 through Yuri Alberto. They aim to halt two league defeats, sitting 10th on 32 points and able to climb to eighth with a win.
