Corinthians have made player sales the priority this window, aiming to move two or three first-teamers to settle short-term debts before seeking reinforcements. According to Meu Timao, liabilities behind a FIFA transfer ban related to José Martínez must be addressed first.

The leading candidates to leave Parque São Jorge are midfielders André Luiz and Breno Bidon, plus striker Yuri Alberto. All have overseas interest, and André and Yuri drew bids in previous windows.

In February, an agreement was advanced to sell 70% of André Luiz’s rights to Milan for €15 million, with €2 million in add-ons, but the deal fell through.

Yuri Alberto has again indicated a desire to play in Europe. Fenerbahçe of Türkiye offered €18 million in January, an approach the board rejected.

Europe’s main windows are open until the end of August. In Brazil, registration runs from 20 July to 11 September, with an exceptional domestic-only slot from 10 to 18 July due to the advance of the 19th league round.

Club debt is close to R$ 2.7 billion and the 2026 budget targets R$ 151 million in player sales. A FIFA ban over late payment to Philadelphia Union for Martínez blocks registrations for the next three windows, with $1.425 million plus 15% annual interest and charges due after a failed CAS appeal.

Further cases include $850,000 owed to New York City FC over Talles Magno’s loan renewal, subject to appeal, and more than R$ 6 million to FC Midtjylland over Charles, with a new ban possible if unpaid.

Wage delays have hit first-team CLT salaries and June image rights, while the women’s team received June image rights 22 days late. Outstanding items include instalments from the Women’s Libertadores title bonus and 80% of the FIFA Champions Cup runners-up prize, from a total of R$ 5.3 million. Youth stipends in June were paid about two weeks late.
