Corinthians resume statute reform talks, focus on Deliberative Council

On the evening of this Wednesday (21), starting at 6 p.m. (Brasília time), Parque São Jorge will once again host discussions on the reform of the Corinthians statute. The updated draft incorporates the changes suggested in the first four sessions, held in December, and has been debated in public hearings open to members, the press, and collectives since December 1st, with specific themes for each meeting.

On tonight's agenda, the election system for the Deliberative Council, voting rules, online voting, and applicable regulations will be discussed. Councilors, members, and representatives of collectives will be able to present proposals and suggestions that can be incorporated into the draft update.

So far, the club has held four public hearings, addressing topics such as the membership framework, the Fiel Torcedor vote, the General Assembly, and social powers – the latter focusing on the possibility of statutory opening for the constitution of a SAF at Corinthians. In upcoming sessions, subjects such as the composition and functioning of councils, mandates, electoral rules, administrative transparency, and general and transitional provisions will be discussed.

In total, six more public hearings are scheduled to refine the draft and complete the final project, which will be submitted to a vote at the general assembly of members, scheduled for March.
