Corinthians are exploring one-off sponsors to fill the main shirt spot for the 2026 Brasileirão run-in after payments from Esportes da Sorte were suspended under a federal provisional measure.

According to Meu Timao, the club aim to strike per match deals for that space, targeting around R$ 1.2 million per game.

There are 10 league fixtures left in 2026. If they secure all dates at that rate, the campaign could bring in R$ 12 million.

Esportes da Sorte had an agreement until 2029, but the measure bars advertising, marketing and sponsorship linked to fixed odds betting. It has legal force from publication and still awaits Congress review.

If Congress maintains the rules, Corinthians estimate losing at least R$ 480 million across the three remaining years, 2027 to 2029.

The board have already taken an advance on revenues from Esportes da Sorte for October, November and part of December, with about R$ 20 million still due for the rest of 2026.

Concern over the lost income comes as debts grow. The club closed July 2026 with a deficit of R$ 278.705 million and total debt of R$ 2.8 billion, according to a balance report on its official website.
