Corinthians set Hugo Souza asking price | OneFootball

According to Globo.com, Corinthians are not expected to agree a deal for Hugo Souza below €13 million, about R$78 million at current rates, for 60 percent of his economic rights.

There are no advanced negotiations. The club understands the 27-year-old goalkeeper hopes to return to European football after the World Cup, and in recent meetings with him and his representatives it outlined the asking price.

Although settled at Corinthians, he was stirred by an offer from Italian side Milan late last year that would have paid three times his current salary.

Souza’s ambition is to join a major club in one of the continent’s leading leagues. His release clause for moves abroad is set at €100 million, roughly R$600 million at current rates, and his contract runs until 31 December 2029.

He has made 104 appearances for the club, winning three trophies, the Campeonato Paulista and Copa do Brasil in 2025, and the Supercopa do Brasil in 2026.
