The match kicks off at 19:30 on Wednesday. Corinthians have lost six in a row and sit 14th on 32 points, three ahead of Grêmio, who occupy the first relegation place. Internacional are 18th with 28 points.

Fernando Diniz’s side are also aiming to respond after being knocked out by the Gaúcho club in the Copa do Brasil last 16. They lost the first leg in Porto Alegre 2-0, then won 2-1 in Itaquera, but went out on aggregate.
