Corinthians have released a behind-the-scenes video from their 1-0 win over Vasco da Gama at Neo Química Arena on Sunday. According to Meu Timao, the YouTube episode landed on Tuesday and tracks build-up, highlights and aftermath.

It shows the squad arriving, dressing-room preparations and the final huddle, where Fernando Diniz backs Vitinho and Gustavo Henrique and Rodrigo Garro rally the group to start fast.

On the pitch, the club honour basketball great Oscar Schmidt, then the footage narrows to the key moments, including Matheus Bidu’s winner.

After full-time, Jesse Lingard celebrates on the turf, saying, “Uhuuu. Lets go, baby!”, before chatting with Diniz in English.

Bidu says he was thrilled his strike secured the points, lifted Corinthians out of the relegation zone and reflected a collective performance.

In the dressing room, Raniele praises the effort after an entire second half a man down, says standards rose after the Palmeiras game with eight outfield players, stressing energy and courage.

Gustavo Henrique calls the points non-negotiable, lauds the collective and looks to Thursday’s meeting with Peñarol in the Libertadores, which he says could set Corinthians on course for qualification.

Diniz closes by applauding the will and energy shown, stressing the club’s size and the need to honour supporters by fighting to the end.

Goalkeeper Kauê, again deputising for Hugo Souza, says the win boosts confidence, aims to keep clean sheets this season and was pleased with his passing and saves.
