Corinthians start facial recognition for member re-registration

The president of Corinthians, Osmar Stabile, has officially announced the creation of the Re-registration Committee, responsible for conducting the process of updating the records of lifetime members, asset members, and active athlete members of the club. The initiative, aimed at implementing facial recognition at the Parque São Jorge headquarters, seeks to modernize access control and internal management.

The committee will be composed of Edilson Azenha, Fabiana Elena da Silva, Marcelo Munhoes, Marcius Ayres, and Reginaldo Prado do Nascimento, who will be responsible for keeping the club’s database updated and accurate.

According to a statement signed by Stabile, the re-registration aims to improve administration, strengthen communication with members, and ensure greater transparency in the management of Corinthians’ resources and activities.

The new facial identification system at Parque São Jorge is already being implemented with a focus on the 2026 presidential elections, when members will benefit from a more secure and automated process—a model similar to the one used at Neo Química Arena.

It is worth noting that the last election, held to define the board that would succeed the previously dismissed management of Augusto Melo, already used a digital voting system, a technology that has been consolidating itself in the club’s internal operations.
