Corinthians completed the second phase of their preparations at CT Dr. Joaquim Grava on Thursday for the derby with Santos in the Brasileirão. According to Meu Timao, Fernando Diniz’s staff prioritised tactical tweaks and technical refinement.

Work began indoors with strength exercises. Out on the grass, after a dynamic warm up with passing, the squad split into two groups to focus on attacking organisation and defensive recovery.

To finish, Diniz ran a small-sided exercise that emphasised sharp passing under defensive pressure and the creation of chances in the attacking half.

In the gym, centre-back André Ramalho followed an individual programme. Left-back Fabrizio Angileri stayed indoors as he continues recovery after dental treatment.

On Wednesday, centre-back Gabriel Paulista, left-back Matheus Bidu and midfielder André Carrillo were held back for load management after reporting minor pain.

The squad return to work on Friday morning. The match against Santos is scheduled for Sunday at 16:00 at Neo Química Arena, in the 25th round of the Brasileirão.
