Corinthians women begin their Brasileiro semi-final at Bahia on Tuesday night, chasing a place in the final and the rewards that come with it. According to Meu Timao, progression would unlock guaranteed prize money and could shape continental qualification.
The first leg kicks off at 21:30 at Arena Fonte Nova.
The CBF will pay R$ 2 million to the champions and R$ 1 million to the runners-up, so simply making the final guarantees a seven-figure payout.
The windfall could help clear image-rights arrears. The squad are owed one month from July, due on 15 August. President Osmar Stabile’s written pledge to settle last week was missed, and the internal expectation is payment by Tuesday.
Finalists also qualify for the 2027 Libertadores, with any duplicate berth passed down the league ranking. Corinthians will contest this year’s tournament in Quito from 15 to 31 October.
Cup involvement is unchanged, all Brasileirão clubs enter the 2027 Copa do Brasil Feminina and A1 sides typically join from the third round.
Corinthians reached a 10th straight semi by beating Cruzeiro in both quarter-final legs. Since 2016 they have won seven league titles, in 2018, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025.
