The Turkish club triggered the player’s mandatory €18m purchase clause back in July.
Last week, Fenerbahce offloaded the striker to newly promoted Premier League side Coventry City, with the Premier League new boys paying more than €25m, including bonuses, for Cherif.

Now, the fee details have become clear as, according to Turkish journalist Ahmet Ercanlar, Coventry will pay Fenerbahce €27m plus €3m in bonuses for Cherif.
They have also agreed to a substantial sell-on clause, which sits at a huge 17.5 per cent.
Signing a striker was on Coventry City’s agenda for a while, with boss Frank Lampard knowing the importance of carrying an attacking threat in the Premier League.
The Sky Blues have already bolstered their wing positions with the likes of Loum Tchaouna and Caleb Yirenkyi.
Now, Lampard will hope that Sidiki’s arrival can help the club survive in the Premier League and all eyes will be on how he starts life in English football.

Meanwhile, Wolves are among the clubs considering a move for Ellis Simms, who is attracting growing interest from Championship sides.
The 25-year-old striker scored 13 times in the Championship last season, playing a key role in Lampard’s side winning promotion to the Premier League.
Coventry expect loan offers to arrive before the transfer window closes, potentially paving the way for Simms to spend another season in the Championship.
