Coventry City have completed the signing of Jamaica international Ethan Pinnock from Brentford, with the experienced defender joining the newly promoted Premier League side on a three-year contract.
The deal is reportedly worth around £6 million, while Pinnock also has the option of extending his stay for another year.
The 33-year-old brings plenty of top-flight experience to Coventry, having made 117 Premier League appearances during his seven years at Brentford. He played an important role in the Bees' promotion to the Premier League in 2020/21 and was a regular in their defence during their first seasons in the division.
Pinnock's journey to the top has been an unusual one. He began his senior career with Dulwich Hamlet before spells with Forest Green Rovers and Barnsley eventually earned him a move to Brentford.
He leaves west London after making 216 appearances for the club, scoring 12 goals. However, his opportunities became limited last season, with just eight appearances in all competitions.
