Cristiano Ronaldo has returned to Al-Nassr training, sharing a photo from the session after a short self-imposed break over the club’s recruitment.

Portuguese press reported that he had applied pressure on the PIF, Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, which finances the leading Saudi clubs.

He had withdrawn in recent days, feeling the club’s signings did not match its ambitions.

He was back on the pitch on Wednesday, the day before his 41st birthday, and Al-Nassr posted images of him at work.

The latest posts suggest relations could be warming and that the two parties may have mended fences.
