Crystal Palace revive move for Quinten Timber from Marseille | OneFootball

Marseille are back in talks with Crystal Palace over the potential transfer of Quinten Timber, 25. The club are open to letting the Dutch midfielder leave.

According to L'Équipe, Marseille have opted to keep their core players, given they cannot strengthen, but have made an exception for Timber. They judge their midfield deep enough to sanction a sale, important under DNCG financial constraints.

Talks with Palace had been complicated, but were revived on Tuesday. Timber, signed in January from Feyenoord Rotterdam, could therefore move to the Premier League.

Discussions are ongoing over a fee of more than €18m.

Palace’s hierarchy are also busy, as they negotiate the transfer of Lyon’s Malick Fofana.
