La Provence reports that Marseille’s Quinten Timber is very close to joining Crystal Palace.
He missed the opener against RC Strasbourg Alsace due to suspension, then trained with team-mates this week. There is a chance he will not be at the club when OM visit AS Monaco on Sunday night.

Timber joined Marseille in January from Feyenoord in a €4.5m deal and quickly impressed. He established himself as a key player.
OM wanted to keep him this summer, but the club’s dire situation means they are not in a position to resist approaches for any player.
