Quinten Timber has agreed to join Crystal Palace, according to a report from Foot Mercato. The Premier League side must now reach an agreement with Olympique de Marseille.

Marseille have needed to sell players all summer. With the transfer window nearing its end, two key players are edging towards exits. Whilst Igor Paixao is locked in talks with Sunderland, Timber looks set for a move to Selhurst Park. The Dutchman only joined OM back in January. He performed well during the second half of last season and considerably bolstered his value.

The midfielder is a player that Bruno Genesio was looking to retain, but the club’s financial situation means that they are in no position to retain players who are coveted.

Foot Mercato now understands that Quinten Timber, brother of Arsenal player Jurrien, is now set for a move to London. He has decided to join Crystal Palace, who must now strike an agreement with Marseille.
