Cuca to make changes as Santos face Cruzeiro, Everton Cebolinha could debut | OneFootball

Cuca is set to alter his Santos side to face Cruzeiro at Vila Belmiro on Saturday, with Everton Cebolinha in line for a debut.

According to Diario Do Peixe, the squad completed preparations at CT Rei Pelé on Friday. Kick-off is at 21:00 Brasília time in the 27th round of the Campeonato Brasileiro.

Neymar and Barreal remain in treatment for right thigh muscle issues. Escobar and Gabigol are suspended after yellow card accumulation, and Gabigol would be ineligible anyway as he is on loan from Cruzeiro. Lucas Veríssimo is likely to be rested again.

Cuca is expected to start Gabriel Brazão, Rodinei, Willian Arão, João Ananias, Luan Peres, Gustavo Henrique, Christian Oliva, Gabriel Bontempo, Rollheiser, Everton Cebolinha and Rony.

Recently signed, Cebolinha is registered in the CBF BID and has taken part in recent sessions at CT Rei Pelé. Having been working normally at Flamengo before joining, he is fit to play and could start.

He is also likely to start given the schedule. He cannot face Flamengo in October due to a clause in his termination agreement with the Rio club, and he is barred from playing Atlético-MG on Wednesday as he is not registered for the Sudamericana.
