Brenden Aaronson starts as Daniel Farke makes one change for Leeds United’s Premier League meeting with Crystal Palace at Elland Road tonight.

According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Ao Tanaka drops to the bench after starting the 1-1 draw at Brentford. Aaronson appears to join Ethan Ampadu and Anton Stach in a three-man midfield, with Noah Okafor again partnering Dominic Calvert-Lewin in a three-five-two.

At Brentford, Tanaka and Jaka Bijol were withdrawn shortly after Leeds fell 1-0 behind, with Willy Gnonto and Aaronson introduced. Leeds recovered to draw 1-1.

Farke reported no new injuries on Thursday. Lukas Nmecha, Sean Longstaff and Dan James remain out, hamstring, calf and hamstring respectively. James does not require surgery on the tendon injury suffered in last month’s 3-2 defeat at Manchester City but faces around eight weeks out.

Palace boss Oliver Glasner named his team at his press conference, with former Leeds loanee Eddie Nketiah included. Leeds United vs Crystal Palace: Perri, Bogle, Rodon, Bijol, Struijk, Gudmundsson, Ampadu, Stach, Aaronson, Okafor, Calvert-Lewin. Subs: Darlow, Byram, Justin, Bornauw, Gruev, Tanaka, Harrison, Gnonto, Piroe.
