Danilo e Alex Sandro are into another Libertadores semi-final together and could add a 14th shared title, with a sixth at Flamengo also possible, according to Coluna Do Fla.

The long-time team-mates have 13 trophies side by side across Santos, Porto, Juventus and now Flamengo. The Rio club is where they have lifted the most together, with five titles.

Both are in the latter stages of their careers but remain active for the Rubro-Negro. The season is still in play and Danilo’s deal may be extended to 2027, mirroring Alex Sandro’s renewal, which would give them further chances to grow their haul.

Danilo joined in January 2025, arriving on 28 January and signing through December 2026 after leaving Juventus. Alex Sandro signed on 26 August 2024 as a free agent following nine years in Turin.

Flamengo face Estudiantes (ARG) in the Libertadores semi-final in the weeks of 14 and 21 October, the first leg in Argentina and the return at the Maracanã.

Before that, the league leaders have key Brasileirão duties. They host Red Bull Bragantino on Sunday 20, with kick-off at 18:30, Brasília time.
