Davide Frattesi ‘to have’ Lazio medical before €15m move from Inter | OneFootball

Davide Frattesi is set to join Lazio in a €15m package, with Inter to retain a 50% sell-on clause.

Sky Sport Italia reports that the 26-year-old will have his medical on Friday. The move is expected to be an initial season-long loan costing €1m, with a €14m obligation to buy.

The €15m total is roughly half of the €30m Inter had initially sought.

Frattesi has made 122 appearances for Inter in the last three seasons, scoring 15 times, 11 in Serie A.

Born in Rome, he spent several years in Lazio’s academy before switching to Roma in 2014.

Inter’s midfield options include Nicolo Barella, Hakan Calhanoglu, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Petar Sucic, Piotr Zielinski, Andy Diouf and Aleksandar Stankovic. There have also been reports that Cristian Chivu could look to add Liverpool’s Curtis Jones.
