Davies steps up Bayern return with partial team training

Alphonso Davies has moved closer to a Bayern Munich return, almost two weeks after tearing a thigh muscle against Eintracht Frankfurt.

The full-back took part in a significant portion of Thursday afternoon’s session with his team-mates.

He will not be available for the game against Borussia Mönchengladbach.

Even so, the update is a welcome boost as Bayern head into a congested spell.

The German record champions face five games in 16 days, including a Champions League last-16 tie against Atalanta Bergamo.
