DAZN lands Copa del Rey rights in France until 2029

DAZN announced on Thursday that it has acquired French rights to the Copa del Rey until 2029.

The streamer ended its Ligue 1 deal last season, though it is now among the distributors of Ligue 1+. It currently carries Serie A, the Coppa Italia, and matches from the Saudi Pro League and Eredivisie.

This is not DAZN France’s first link with Spanish football. It has offered La Liga highlights since the start of the season.

Coverage begins on Tuesday 16 December at 21:00 with Guadalajara v FC Barcelona in the round of 32.

This season’s Copa del Rey is played as single-leg ties, except the semi-finals which remain two-legged.
