Deportivo Recoleta have paid a fine to move their fourth round Copa Sudamericana match against Santos to Estadio Monumental Río Parapití in Pedro Juan Caballero. The game is scheduled for 5 May at 9.30pm Brasília time.

According to Globo.com, CONMEBOL rules require venue change requests at least 15 days in advance along with a minimum compensation of 7,000 dollars, about R$35,000.

If lodged a month ahead, the switch would carry no fee.

Club president Luis Antonio Vidal said ticket sales start on Thursday 23 via the Tuti platform.

Estadio Monumental Río Parapití hosted 2026 Libertadores matches when 2 de Mayo faced Alianza Lima then Sporting Cristal in the first and second phases.

The ground sits about two kilometres from the border with Ponta Porã (MS), which could make it easier for Brazilian supporters to attend.
