FC Bayern apparently continues to be interested in Yann Bisseck. The Munich club has already made contact with the player—but Inter Milan is demanding a massive transfer fee.
At FC Bayern, planning for the future of the roster is already in full swing. Yann Bisseck apparently remains a topic of discussion. The German national team player is currently under contract with Inter Milan, where he has established himself as a sought-after defender.
According to information from transfer expert Ekrem Konur, Bayern officials have held informal talks with the 25-year-old’s representatives. During these discussions, Bayern reportedly inquired about Bisseck’s future career plans and aspirations.
However, no concrete offer has been made to Inter yet. Whether Bayern will take the next step and actually begin negotiations with the top Italian club remains to be seen.
A major reason for this is likely to be the transfer fee demanded by the Milan-based club.
Inter is very satisfied with the development of the 1.96-meter-tall center back and apparently has no interest whatsoever in letting Bisseck go on the cheap. According to the report, the Italians are demanding a transfer fee of between 70 and 80 million euros for a sale.
This figure apparently isn’t sitting well with FC Bayern at the moment. While the Munich club appreciates Bisseck’s profile, they view the asking price as too high. Consequently, the German record champions have been proceeding with caution so far.

In principle, Bisseck would fit Munich’s requirements for several reasons. The DFB star brings tremendous physical presence to the field, is known for his strength in the air, and also possesses qualities in build-up play. In addition, he can play in both a back three and a back four.
However, Bayern is not the only club that might be interested in Bisseck. Due to his physicality and athleticism, the defender is also considered an attractive prospect for Premier League clubs.
At present, however, Inter’s high transfer fee remains the key hurdle. Bayern continues to monitor the situation and is maintaining contact with the player’s camp. For this interest to turn into concrete transfer negotiations, though, the financial terms would likely have to change significantly.
