Breakthrough: FC Bayern Secures Another Contract Extension | OneFootball

FC Bayern has recently announced several contract extensions. Most recently, Jan-Christian Dreesen and Max Eberl each extended their contracts through the summer of 2029. More deals are expected to follow, with one set to be finalized very soon. 

This does not yet involve Harry Kane, with whom Bayern is currently engaged in intensive talks. However, Tim Binder—the young attacking player from the youth academy who played for the first team several times during preseason and made a name for himself—is set to make a move now.

Before he suffered a muscle fiber tear—from which he is still recovering—he demonstrated, above all through his carefree style, that he might have what it takes to make a splash in the new season.

Binder Set to Extend Contract with FC Bayern

Transfermarkt was the first to report on an impending contract extension for the Bayern prospect, and Sky later followed up with more details. According to these reports, all the details have already been finalized, and the young attacking talent’s new contract will run through the summer of 2030.

After his injury, he is expected to be able to train with the team again within the next two weeks. Without the muscle tear, Binder might even have had a realistic chance of earning a spot on the first-team roster when FC Bayern faced BVB in the Super Cup or Stuttgart in the Bundesliga at the start of the season.

In recent weeks, there are said to have been several inquiries from the 2. Bundesliga. However, according to Transfermarkt, Vincent Kompany and Christoph Freund were instrumental in convincing the youngster to stay in Munich. The plan is for him to develop here, after which a loan move might be on the table in the future.
