Diaz’s backup? Bayern is keeping an eye on Leipzig star Antonio Nusa | OneFootball

FC Bayern officials are always keeping a close eye on the transfer market so they can act when a good opportunity arises. One Bundesliga player, at least, appears to be on the record champion’s radar. 

It wasn’t long ago that reports surfaced suggesting Munich is seriously considering signing a backup for Luis Diazafter all . Admittedly, this would only happen if all the conditions are right, but they are at least considering this move.

No concrete approach has been made to any player yet, but there are definitely some exciting players being linked to Bayern.

Nusa a candidate for Bayern

One of them is apparently Antonio Nusa. According to information from fussball-news, FC Bayern is said to be among the clubs keeping an eye on the Norwegian attacking star. Nusa has shown good development in the Bundesliga so far; the Leipzig player just needs to take that final step toward greater consistency.

The current situation with Nusa is that he isn’t pushing for a move away from RB Leipzig and generally feels he’s in good hands there. However, nothing can be ruled out for the future. The Norwegian offers a complete package that’s also appealing to clubs like Arsenal, Tottenham, and Aston Villa, which is why these clubs are interested.

Arsenal is even said to be preparing an offer in the range of approximately 40 million euros. However, that won’t be enough to sign the Norwegian just yet. RB is looking for a sum in the range of 65 million euros in the event of a departure.

That could very well become the sticking point if the record champions ultimately try to sign Nusa. Spending that kind of money on a backup player is something you have to be able to afford—and willing to do.
