Diogo Leite arrived at Rome’s Fiumicino Airport on Sunday afternoon, ahead of a free transfer to Serie A side Lazio.
According to Football Italia, the 27-year-old Portuguese defender left Union Berlin this summer after his contract expired.

The former Porto youth product had been linked with the Biancocelesti throughout the summer, and the move gathered pace after the club bid farewell to experienced centre-back Alessio Romagnoli.
He then travelled to the club’s Formello training base.
There he will complete a medical and sign a reported three-year contract, with an option for a fourth.
