Portuguese defender Diogo Leite has arrived at Rome’s Fiumicino Airport on Sunday afternoon, ahead of a free transfer to Serie A side Lazio.
Leite, 27, left Bundesliga side Union Berlin in the summer, after his contract with the German outfit expired.

The former Porto youth prospect had been linked with the Biancocelesti over the summer but the most only accelerated after the club bid farewell to experienced centre-back Alessio Romagnoli.

After his arrived, Leite made his way to the club’s training ground, Formello, where he will complete a medical and sign a contract that will cover a reported three years, with an option for the fourth.
