Femi Azeez has been linked with a move away from Millwall this summer
Femi Azeez has been a crucial part of Millwall’s push for automatic promotion to the Premier League this season.
The forward has contributed impressively in attack this year, going from strength to strength in his second campaign with the Lions.
The 24-year-old made the switch to the Den from Reading in the 2024 summer transfer window, and he managed just two goals and five assists in that first 12 months at the club.
He has already comfortably exceeded that total this year, which has led to some speculation over his immediate future with the London outfit.
It has been reported that both Crystal Palace and Leeds United are targeting a move for the Millwall star this summer following his strong performances in the Championship.
Here we use estimated figures from Capology to see how much the Premier League duo could pay Azeez in wages compared to the Lions.

Crystal Palace’s highest earner is January signing Jorgen Strand Larsen, who arrived from Wolves, with the forward receiving £120,000 per week.
Brennan Johnson, Daichi Kamada and Dean Henderson are all also paid six figures per week at a cost of £110,000, £105,000 and £100,000, respectively.
However, it’s unlikely Azeez will go straight to the top of their highest earners list, with the forward more reasonably expected to receive a more mid-tier salary.
Adam Wharton made the move from the Championship to Selhurst Park when he signed from Blackburn Rovers in the 2024 January window.
The midfielder receives £35,000 per week from Palace, which might be more in line with what the 24-year-old could earn if he signed for the club.
Meanwhile, Leeds United pay just one player six figures, with summer addition Dominic Calvert-Lewin receiving £100,000 per week following his move from Everton.
Other high earners are Sean Longstaff and Daniel James, who earn £80,000 and £75,000 per week, respectively.
However, a good comparison for Azeez in Daniel Farke’s side could be Joel Piroe, who was signed from Swansea City when the Whites were relegated in 2023.
The forward receives £40,000 per week at Elland Road, which might be the kind of wages the Millwall star could expect.

Azeez has a contract with Millwall until the summer of 2028, giving the club leverage in any potential transfer talks this summer.
However, the forward currently earns £7,000 per week as part of Neil’s side, which is significantly below a possible Premier League salary.
If the Lions can win promotion to the top flight this season, then a new contract with a pay increase may still be needed to convince Azeez to remain at the Den.
And if they are unable to secure a place in the first division, then it will be hard to see how he stays at the club when he could be in line for a huge pay bump, along with the opportunity to compete at a higher level.
For comparison, the highest earner at Millwall this season is Joe Bryan, with the defender earning £32,500 per week.
