Stuttgart appear to have secured Dzenan Pejcinovic after striking an agreement with Wolfsburg over the weekend. Sky reports that, following Saturday evening comments from Wolfsburg sporting director Dieter Hecking, the move is considered all but complete.

Bild claims the drawn-out pursuit is finally nearing completion, with Stuttgart’s interest clear for weeks after earlier talks failed to yield a deal.

The fee is reportedly a fixed €25 million, with Pejcinovic set to sign a contract running to 2031. The Germany U21 forward is expected to undergo a medical within 48 hours.

Pejcinovic heads to Stuttgart on the back of a promising Bundesliga campaign for relegated Wolfsburg, scoring nine league goals last season.

He will now join a Stuttgart side able to offer Champions League football.
