Vinicius Souza, a standout for Wolfsburg in 2026, says returning to Flamengo at some stage would fulfil a long-held dream. The midfielder came through Flamengo’s academy and was part of their 2019 Libertadores and Brasileirão-winning squad.

"Of course Flamengo is the club that stirs me, I spent many years there. It is very hard to think about tomorrow, with so much responsibility here at Wolfsburg, being one of the captains.
