DONE DEAL: Sassuolo winger Nicolas Schiappacasse joins Penarol

Sassuolo winger Nicolas Schiappacasse has joined Penarol on-loan.

The midfieler has played twice for the Neroverdi this term having arrived for a reported €1.3m from Atletico Madrid in October 2020.

Schiappacasse had experience from Italy with Parma during six months of the 2018-19 season but moves back to his homeland this month.

He has signed a loan deal with Penarol through to December 2021 and his contract at the Mapei Stadium expires in June 2022.
