Leeds United host Crystal Palace at Elland Road on Sunday, with the visitors boosted by the returns of Ismaila Sarr and Eddie Nketiah.

According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, Ismaila Sarr made his first appearance of the season on Thursday after a groin injury, and Eddie Nketiah also returned from injury. Palace opened their Europa League campaign with a 4-0 win over Lech Poznan. Jorgen Strand Larsen’s 34th-minute penalty made it 3-0, Sarr logged 17 minutes and Nketiah struck a late fourth.

Pierre Sage’s side head north after a difficult Premier League start, losing three of their four matches, including a 3-2 home defeat to Ipswich Town last week.

First-choice goalkeeper Dean Henderson is still expected to be absent, while Jean-Philippe Mateta remains out until after the international break. In attack, January Leeds target Strand Larsen is leading the line.

"When you miss two [penalties] in a row you have to smack it in. It was a risky one, it was going a bit higher than I expected. I enjoyed it. When it works it works really well. We could have won this game by more. We had Sunday's game in the back of our minds." He was speaking to TNT Sports.

It is unclear whether Sarr or Nketiah will be ready for major minutes in a more demanding setting, with only two full days to recover and Sarr having been out for a long spell.
